Vtg 18k Gold Haute Couture Emerald Persian Turquoise Rectangular Ring SZ 5.50

Details & Condition: We are pleased to offer this wonderful and unusual heavy 18k yellow gold square ring from the private collection of a New York socialite.
They say that coutre high fashion items never really go out of style - even though this piece dates from the late 1960's early 70's it still looks as dramatic when worn as the day it was purchased.
Every piece that we purchased from this collection could have been (and probably was) straight out of Vogue magazine.
Rectangular in shape and made out of solid 18k yellow gold it is quite heavy at 12.2 grams, it is decorated on both sides - one side has a beautiful deep green Emerald cabochon which measures 7.5mm x 6.6mm, accenting is a smaller pair of red Coral and Persian Turquoise cabochons.
This pattern is repeated on the opposite side but instead of Emerald there is a beautiful Persian Turquoise cabochon.
When worn the ring sits 0.40 of an inch from the finger very eye catching indeed.
There is a makers mark and a serial number on the interior band along with the 18 Karat gold hallmark.
