Details & Condition: Although there are many rumors about who the designer "Martine" is / was - in my eyes the only reason to know is so this great designer can get the recognition he / she deserves. This amazing piece is from "The Garden Of Eden" series - Made out of 18k gold the snake lies coiled and has a ruby red apple dangling from it's mouth - The apple is articulated and moves. The snake is lying on a beautiful Jade or Serpentine circle and has a large 18k gold bail that can fit a large width necklace of at least 5.75mm thick. At 3.2 inches long including the bail, this is a large piece - Now for condition! There are a couple of of nicks round the edge of the green circle, please see pictures and on the apple there is some missing enamel - the color blends in though.... we are asking for a best offer on this very rare piece in order to give the purchaser enough room to have the enamel repaired. This is an estate - no return piece. As everyone's idea of condition varies we encourage you to enlarge all photo's and ask as many questions as you need before purchase.
