Details and Condition: This is quite a rare piece from Corletto of Italy, normally know for the Blackamoors line this is a lucky Buddha!
Hand carved red Coral lies in the center in the shape of a Buddha, he sits on a beautifully decorated platform of 18k yellow gold and turquoise cabochons, even the underside is decorated with a diamond cut design with a star in the center.
Fully hallmarked with the old style Corletto signature and the carat weight.
Although there are no chips or cracks to the figure the facial features are worn down where he has been rubbed for good luck, for this reason he has been reduced in price.
Bottom platform that he sits on is 0.67 inches in diameter (measured in between the turquoise) and 0.30 inches high.
