Title: Finding Bucherer Starlike timepieces is not an easy task, this is the first time I have ever seen the ladies pocket watch / pendant version.
I pleased to say it works and keeps good time - checked over a 3 hour period, the hands set, the second hand sweeps perfectly and the kaleidoscope on the rear also functions perfectly.
We recommend as this is not a new watch that you have it serviced for optimum time keeping.
The crystal on both sides is plastic, there is a crack in the front on the face side, which does not impede function but if it were replaced it would bring this up to excellent condition.
The enamel is in good shape, no missing chunks, still a vibrant red color despite being approx 40 years old.
Overall: Great watch, normal marks from age and use, works well, needs crystal on the front replacing.
