Bottom surmount contains a 7.8 x 6 mm bezel set natural amethyst - branching out from amethyst are Lotus flowers and leaves embellished with bead set Rose Cut Diamonds and natural faceted emeralds in a fan effect;
A Combination of yellow gold and silver enhance these lovely stones; large pierced omega backs enable earring to lay securely on ear. Measuring 1"x 1 1/4" makes for a very impressive stylized look.
These earrings are from an estate - at some point in their life they have been updated from a screw back style to the more modern Omega post ensuring these will be worn and enjoyed now and by future generations
According to the family history these were purchased in New-York in the mid1920's and have been passed down in the same family ever since.
There are no hallmarks - we have carefully x-rayed these and the precious metal content is as follows: Omega clip and backs 14k gold, yellow gold on earrings between 10.5k and 13.5k depending on where we xray - the white is sterling silver with a white gold flash - so they do not discolor.
